Scent notes: palo santo, green moss, bergamot, incense, saffron, violet

Imagining a scent that embodies the feel of Seven Mile has taken me quite some time to figure out. Ultimately, I went on a little adventure to help me - I decided to drive the entire length of Seven Mile from it’s westernmost edge to its easternmost edge within the city of Detroit. It was a warm spring day and overall, outside of the busier intersections, what I felt most was a sense of peace. As I drove those 17 miles from Grand River to Kelly, I saw evidence of Detroit’s past, its vibrant present, and its inspiring future - beautiful neighborhoods, homes, and schools; amazing local food spots; gardens, woods, and green space; and also industrial/auto industry buildings and businesses. The prominent palo santo scent note and the woodsy, clean, green feel of this candle feels like Seven Mile to me.

Note: This is not a powerhouse-scent like many of my other scents but it’s still potent.
